Christopher LambInspired by Mikhail Baryshnikov in American Ballet Theatre’s “The Nutcracker”, Christopher Lamb began studying ballet in 1997. Already a classical violinist since the age of four, he found dance a natural extension of music and, in 2005, discovered acting as a natural extension of dance. Now a stage and screen actor and director and lead violinist for the Pan-Arabic band Safar, he continues to use dance to enhance his acting (in roles such as John Merrick in “The Elephant Man” and First Son in the US premiere of “The Cave” by Mervyn Peake) and to use music and acting to enhance his dancing and also his own choreography.
A self-proclaimed “neo-aesthete”, Christopher’s artistic interests have also come to expand to the worlds of photography and writing. Performance Highlights with VMDConfluence, Tribute
